2020 writing contest

As writers, we’re often plagued with a whole lot of self-doubt which can have a negative effect on our mental health and our writing. Add to that, the fact that we are prone to losing traction when we don’t have a specific deadline in sight. What’s great about writing contests is that they give you a chance to ignite your creativity and get back into the swing of writing.

On that note, we’ve compiled a list of writing contests to help get you started!

The above list is very comprehensive, but if I may be constructively critical, half of these competitions have already expired; so I had to scroll down countless screens to get to those which hadn’t expired, i.e. to the June onwards competitions, which seems to waist the users time – anyway I appreciate you collated the list for us to have free; is my question? I believe it is – in the future, why not collate all those competitions which have expired – which seems to be around a third of them – this way means our experience is more enjoyable.
